Here is a brand new book that really takes a look at eminent domain from the personal aspect almost in a novel format. The author is Rosalie M. Ash
"Threats of kidnapping and even foul play, cantankerous debate, a city on the verge of bankruptcy, a bid to annex a bucolic riverside community and turn it into a cargo port for coal and chemicals storage to hike B&O taxes, and a citizens' revolt that defied City Hall: All of these elements and more make up the dramatic true tale told by Lesage resident Rosalie M. Ash under the title “We Fought Back: How a Grassroots Group Defeated Annexation and Eminent Domain." You can buy it on Amazon.com
