Do you have a brief you would like to file about a particular legal case for the community to discuss?  We are looking for sound arguments, provable reasons/premises, which can be determined to be true or false

  • What are the key arguments that you think are the strongest for or against the particular ruling?
  • Were they in the majority opinion or the dissenting opinion?

IMPORTANT:  This section is not limited to attorneys; you don’t have to be a lawyer or have a law degree to write a brief or submit your arguments about a case.  NOTE: If desired there is room for up to four cases to be argued at the same time.  The cases do not have to be Supreme Court rulings.  Any local jurisdiction, state case, or state initiative that’s worth the time of the community is welcomed.

Please no ranting! Save that for the forums where you may, by all means, rant all you want. But definitely present your arguments why a case was judged rightly or wrongly.

Discuss these cases on our forums!

We have reserved a dedicated forum for the discussion of these case law briefs and invite you to join in on the discussions by visiting The Case Law Brief Forum.
